Collective Wedding in Gaza – Part of Operation Gallant Knight 3 ("Thawb Al Farah 2" / "Garment of Joy 2")

Operation Gallant Knight 3 organized the second collective wedding, "Thawb Al Farah 2" (Garment of Joy 2), in the city of Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip, which included 300 grooms and brides, with support from Khalifa Foundation, as part of the continuous humanitarian support provided by the United Arab Emirates to the people of Gaza and Palestinian youth amid the difficult circumstances they are living through. The ceremony was attended by around 20,000 people from various areas of the Strip, alongside a number of national figures, dignitaries, and representatives of international organizations, in a scene that embodied Gaza's resilience and the joy that the UAE brought to the faces of its people.

The wedding included the procession of the grooms and brides, the recitation of the Holy Quran, the announcement of the marriages, as well as the playing of the UAE and Palestinian national anthems, in addition to folkloric and artistic performances that brought an atmosphere of joy and celebration.

Mohammed Haji Al Khoury, Deputy Chairman of Khalifa Foundation, affirmed that this initiative embodies the commitment of the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation to supporting the people of Gaza and empowering youth to begin their family life, alleviating their humanitarian suffering, and enhancing opportunities for stability.
