For the tenth year in a row, the "Fasting Breakfast" project has succeeded in distributing more than 3.3 million meals and food baskets to fasting people inside and outside the country.An official source at the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation praised the active role played by the partners, sponsors, coordinators and supervisors to reach the needy at their sites without the trouble of reaching a specific place to get Ramadan meals.He pointed out that the sponsors are the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Emirates Islamic Bank, Al Ain Cooperative Society, Securities and Commodities Authority, Emirates Suqia Company, Al Baraka Establishment for Ramadan Meals Management, Prepared Meals Distribution, Manazel Company and Al Dhahirah Agricultural Company.He thanked the strategic partners, namely the General Administration of Civil Defense and municipalities in all regions of the country, Emirates Transport, ADNOC Distribution, Emergency Management, Public Safety, Emirates Post and Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority.On the external level, about one million fasting people have benefited from the program of the Khalifa Foundation, distributed in more than 53 countries around the world, and marginalized regions and countries have received an important share of these distributions and meals.The "fasting breakfast" project outside the country included nine sister Arab countries and 15 Asian countries: Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Turkey, Sri Lanka and the Maldives, as well as Indonesia, the Philippines, Seychelles, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Japan and Singapore.From the countries of the African continent, the project included 16 countries, namely Senegal, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, Gambia, South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania, in addition to Nigeria, Uganda, Mali, Togo, Rwanda, Burundi and Ethiopia.And from European countries, 10 countries are Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Belarus, Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in addition to America, Colombia and Australia.
