The Khalifa Foundation is establishing a "maternity hospital project" in Shimkent, the second largest city in the Republic of Kazakhstan in terms of population ... and within the framework of the health assistance provided by the Foundation to the needy in many brotherly and friendly countries.The Foundation took care of equipping the hospital with the latest medical devices and equipment, as it was called "Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan". The hospital aims to provide health care services to women, "motherhood and childbirth," while the project is designed to accommodate 120 beds, including 12 intensive care beds and eight beds for newborns. The hospital is considered one of the most modern and best hospitals in the city and serves the population of Shimkent and the southern regions of Kazakhstan, which amount to one million 200 thousand people.
