On the orders of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation took the initiative to send urgent humanitarian aid to the victims of floods in Pakistan .. as the Foundation was one of the first humanitarian institutions that contributed to reducing the suffering of those affected. The Foundation implemented this emergency relief through 8 phases that included 30,000 blankets, 70,000 food parcels, 24,000 water bottles and 30,000 shelter tents .. Also, 8 water purification plants producing more than 150,000 gallons per day were purchased and installed, in addition to distributing medicines and medical supplies.

Last October, the Foundation drove a convoy of 65 trucks carrying 9,000 food parcels, 3,000 tents, 9,000 blankets and 6,000 liters of mineral water to Deirat Murad Jamali, Naseerabad, Jafarabad, Jal Makassi, Zouk in Balochistan and Sukhar in Sindh. The food parcel contains flour and oil. Sugar, rice and lentils.

This aid is distributed in coordination with officials of the local administrations in the Pakistani areas affected by the floods, who always express their thanks and gratitude to the UAE and the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work for the assistance it provides to the Pakistani people.
