The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works distributed 60 tons of dates to needy families in Bosaso, Puntland State, northeastern Somalia, where the dates benefited from the orphanage, the refugee home and thousands of residents from Gao and Elayo villages in the state.

The distribution of dates is one of the permanent humanitarian programs that the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation carries out annually, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan, based on its awareness of the needs of needy families in many countries, and the main meal that this fruit represents for all family members.
