During the year 2011, the Khalifa Foundation took care of the expenses of deporting 176 prisoners of various nationalities who spent their sentences in correctional and penal institutions in the country, and a judicial decision was issued against them to deport them outside the country and are unable to secure travel tickets to return to their home countries.This humanitarian project is implemented in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of the Interior through the correctional and punitive institutions in the state, and a commitment from the institution to help the needy groups in the local arena as required by the interest in coordination with the correctional and penal institutions in the country and all prisoners benefit from it without exception and regardless of race, color or religion.
