Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation starts implementation of dates distribution project

20 tons arrived in Kazakhstan Capital

Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation launched the dates distribution project to the brotherly and friendly countries on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, through the arrival of the first 20 tons shipment of fine dates to the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, to be distributed to the eligible in advance of the holy month.
Other quantities of dates will be shipped to a number of brotherly and friendly countries within the framework of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation  keenness to meet and provide the needs of some of the poor families in these countries.
This seasonal project is aimed at achieving the Foundation's mission to improve the lives of those suffering from the burden of circumstances and to provide some of their needs during the holy month of Ramadan with the allocation of large quantities of dates through the dates distribution project among the peoples of the brotherly and friendly countries and Arab and Muslim communities abroad.
Last year, the Foundation shipped more than 123 tons of dates on this occasion to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Germany, Switzerland, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan in cooperation with the state embassies in these countries for distribution to the needy.
