Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation had distributed Mir Ramadan among the target groups in the areas of "Bukti, Rahim Yar Khan, Rogan Rajinbour, Deira Ghazi Khan and Baluchistan," Pakistan on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Foundation's delegation had direct supervision over Mir Ramadan distribution in collaboration with the UAE Embassy in Pakistan and a number of Pakistani humanitarian agencies and organizations where Mir Ramadan includes essential food stuff.. The Foundation allocated the amount of Mir according to a field study on the needs of residents of those areas.
During the visit, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation delegation had also distributed 20 tons of high-quality dates from among the poor families and Islamic, educational and social institutions to help the poor and the needy.
The Foundation pointed out, in a statement, that this noble deed of the sisterly Islamic nations comes within the framework of achieving the goals of the Foundation through the provision of help and support for the poor segments of societies in a number of countries.
On the other hand, and during their stay in Pakistan, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation delegation made an inspection visit to a number of new projects implemented by the Foundation in addition to the existing projects and studying the extent of their need for maintenance.
