Ramadan programs in France, Spain, Indonesia, Bangkok include distribution of dates and Iftar meals

The UAE embassies in the capitals of the world started to carry out Ramadan programs subsidized by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.

The state embassy in Spain had started to implement the Iftar project during the holy month of Ramadan, which is subsidized by Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.

Muslims in a number of mosques in the capital city of Madrid and the city Granada will benefit from the project, as they are supported financially. This comes within the framework of the efforts exerted by the state to support Muslims all over the world.

The directives issued by His Highness, the Head of State, regarding distribution of dates to the brotherly and friendly countries on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, come as an extension of the charity and giving approach established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and it's also a continuation of the good offices of the State and its keenness to serve Islam and Muslims around the world.

The UAE Embassy in Bangkok, in cooperation with a number of charities, started to distribute amounts of dates to a number of agencies and individuals throughout the Kingdom of Thailand, especially in the Northern and Southern provinces, where Muslims are settled, as per the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God save and bless him.
Ahmad Ali Seif Meherbi, Chargé d’affairs of the Embassy, supervised the distribution of dates to the social associations, centers, Islamic councils and schools in the northern provinces of "Narathiwat, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai" and the southern provinces of "Jala, Krabi and Baananja", hospitals in Bangkok and many mosques throughout the Kingdom, as well as the distribution of other amounts in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Distributions were carried out in coordination with a number of charity societies which deliver them to the individuals, families and agencies registered on a list of aids with the embassy in Thailand.

Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, in cooperation with the UAE Embassy in Jakarta, had also organized a program to distribute the basic foodstuffs of rice, cooking oil, sugar, etc. to the poor and the needy in most areas of Indonesia, within the framework of charitable efforts undertaken by the Foundation on an annual basis in Indonesia, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

These generous charitable efforts of the Foundation and the aids provided by the UAE State in general, were highly appreciated at both the popular and official levels which were highlighted by the local media.

Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation charitable programs will continue in Indonesia during the holy month, and a number of other collective Iftars will be organized in the coming days in a number of poor areas, as a contribution to alleviating the suffering of the needy and the poor in Indonesia, giving effect to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of State, may God save and bless him.

The state embassy in France had also started to execute the Iftar Project during the holy month of Ramadan, which is subsidized by Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. Muslims in the capital, Paris, and its suburbs will benefit from this project which is organized in cooperation with several mosques and prominent Islamic organizations, as they will get "Ramadan bags" containing foodstuffs to be distributed among the poor families.
